Remembering Steve Wolfe 1940–2021

It is with great sadness that we learn of Steve Wolfe’s passing. His songwriting partnership with Ronnie Scott led to Bonnie’s early successes with “Lost in France” and “It’s a Heartache”. Bonnie has issued the following statement:

I’m so very sad to hear about the passing of Steve Wolfe. I have nothing but happy, fond memories of him and Angie from my early recording days in the 70s. When I was first invited to London to make some demos, one of them turned out to be our very first hit record together – “Lost in France”. It was written by Steve Wolfe and Ronnie Scott, and produced by David Mackay, who I’m happily still working with to this day.
