Bonnie Tyler and Chris Norman Announce Double Feature Concerts for 2025

One Summer Night – A Very Special Double Feature

Live, Loud, and Legendary. With their timeless rock anthems and heartfelt ballads, Bonnie Tyler and Chris Norman have long earned their places among music legends. They have much in common, but above all, they share one passion: performing live. On July 11 and 12, 2025, the two will hit the stages in Halle and Dresden for a special double feature. In this two-hour power show, fans can look forward to all their hits, from Tyler’s “Holding Out for a Hero” and “Total Eclipse of the Heart” to Norman’s “Living Next Door to Alice” and “Midnight Lady”. Tickets are available now at all regular outlets and via Eventim.de.

Tyler and Norman belong to a generation of artists who still genuinely enjoy performing live. And the truth is, they’re still as captivating as ever. Like fine wine, they only get better with age.

Tyler shares: “Even after all these years, performing is still a thrill! I got into show business for one reason – because I wanted to sing live! Being on stage with my amazing band is pure joy. It makes me feel young and happy.”

Bonnie Tyler, raised in the quiet village of Skewen near Swansea, Wales, has risen to become one of the most iconic rock-pop artists through sheer talent, determination, and power. Tyler has been honored with numerous awards throughout her career, including Grammy nominations for Best Pop Vocal Performance and Best Rock Vocal Performance, as well as the RSH Gold Award, the Echo, and the Golden Europa for Most Successful Artist. Over her 50+ years on stage, she has performed worldwide. Recently, her albums Rocks and Honey, Between the Earth and the Stars and The Best Is Yet to Come received wide acclaim. Chris Norman, born on October 25, 1950, in Redcar, England, has been a successful singer, songwriter, and musician for decades. He first rose to fame as the frontman of the band Smokie. In the 1970s, Smokie scored international hits with songs like “Living Next Door to Alice”, “If You Think You Know How to Love Me”, and “Lay Back in the Arms of Someone”. Smokie’s distinctive blend of rock and pop, combined with Norman’s signature raspy voice, helped define the band’s sound.

After his time with Smokie, Chris Norman launched a successful solo career. His 1986 hit “Midnight Lady”, written by Dieter Bohlen, reached number one in several countries, including Germany, and cemented his status as a solo artist, particularly in German-speaking regions.
